The Risk of Brain Cancer Using Cell Phone

Monday, May 25th, 2009
technotalks3 asked:

Most would argue that the mobile phone is here to stay but at what cost to our health. Yes, the cellular phone is convenient; that is why we use it. We use the cellular telephone so much that it is causing motor vehicle accidents left and right. That is one of the ways it is affecting our health, negatively of course. Anyone can attest to seeing someone driving while blabbing on the phone; most of the times these drivers are so involved with their conversations that they don’t even know what’s going on around them, in regards to the road and traffic.

In Stockholm, Sweden a recent study conducted by the Karolinska Institute found that there was an increased risk of brain cancer in certain parts of the brain through the regular use of cell phones. The study consisted of 634 subjects over a two year period. Of the subjects 209 already had brain tumors and 425 were completely healthy. This most recent study took place over a 2 year period and showed that increased microwaves from the cell phones did indeed pose a health risk to the brain. Due to the small amount of subjects however a larger study is being done with 3,000 subjects with results due out late in 2009.

In all actuality, cell phones were not meant to be used for the long periods of time and durations they are presently used for by the m(asses) of the American people (or is it sheeple?). But the Ruling Elite (Illuminati) had something else in store for the American people – invasion of privacy! If you didn’t know it, all cellular phones are chipped (have tracers). The NSA (National Security Agency) bugs and records every cell phone transmission and conversation worldwide via satellite. The NSA was the agency chasing Will Smith’s character in the movie “Enemy of the State.”

It has not been clearly stated as of yet that there are confirmed reports of cell phone health causing brain cancer. There is no concrete proof that the two are linked to one another. There have been people who came out and said I did not have cancer until I begun using my cell over and over again and the doctors have informed me that the cause of my cancer was related to the usage of my cell. Once again there is no concrete proof that the two are linked other than the one not occurring until the cell phone became a habit.

When we are talking on the phone, the radiation coming from the device is actually absorbed by the brain. This makes the permeability of the blood brain barrier higher. Besides, the synthesis of stress proteins also soars. There was a number of different studies conducted that proved that there is definitely a very clear link between the usage of mobile phones and the increase of people suffering from brain tumors. Even though no exact conclusions can be drawn, the fact that cell phones increase the risk of having cancer is very obvious.

On the other hand, studies with opposing results and observations have also been published. CTIA, the wireless industry’s lobbying association pointed out to studies or statements from the World Health Organization (WHO), the American Cancer Society, and the FDA downplaying potential cell phone dangers, “all have concurred that wireless devices are not a public health risk.”

By simply having a cell on and using it on a regular basis, users of cellular telephones are exposed to electromagnetic radiation. The electromagnetic radiation is there to help the phone commit basic functions such as sending and receiving: calls, texts, pictures, videos, and data. Cells send signals through radio waves, which are made up of radio-frequency energy that is coincidentally a form of electromagnetic radiation. The common thought is that cancer can be brought on by overexposure to the radiation in cell phones.

Cancer Issues – Managing The Associated Stress

Sunday, May 24th, 2009
Anne Orchard asked:

Stress is a likely occurrence for families facing cancer.  It is helpful to know some practical ways to alleviate stress, or avoid it all together.  Some of the most basic methods are; alter the source of stress, avoid the stress, or accept it by building up your resistance.

To Alter Stress:  Change the thing that is causing stress.  If it is a time crunch, rearrange your schedule; drop some task or errand that isn’t crucial.  If it is a specific incident or pending event, write it down on a sheet of paper.  Be sure that you just write down one thing at a time, and then list some ways you could handle it: Be creative and think of many ways, even the silly or absurd.  Then pick one thing from your list, and do it.  Taking action will alter and lessen stress-feeling as if your hands are tied will increase stress. For example, you feel a lot of stress after the doctor informs you that an additional treatment is required:

    1)  Research the treatment; read up on it, and if you have more questions, call and ask the doctor.

    2)  Talk to your professional coach or counselor about how you feel and what you need to do next.

    3)  Vow to avoid jumping to conclusions.  Instead, wait and see how the treatment turns out.

    4)  Sing a song or recite a poem to your dog or cat (or yourself) about how you are feeling. Read aloud from a favorite book that you find comforting.

To Avoid Stress:  Walk away or leave the setting you find stressful, or avoid it from the start.  You may go on a short drive or a trip for a day or more, ask people not to call you, go to a movie, etc.  Knowing your limits helps-if something is past your limit, say no.  Think of what your limits are for time, energy, money, the ability to remain happy or cheer people up. If you have used all of these resources for the day, week or month, draw the line. You can replenish your vitality by taking a reprieve from having to give to others continually.  You can delegate; someone else will make the appointment, pick up the food, and so on.

To Accept Stress by Building Resistance to it:  Prepare for any crisis that may occur, by conditioning yourself to accept stress if or when it occurs.  Prepare yourself physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.

Physically – by eating healthy foods, exercising, proper sleep, & simple relaxation. Just as your body needs exercise, it also needs relaxation. Mentally – by clarifying priorities and goals. Make plans monthly, weekly, daily.  Implement plans by writing small tasks in your calendar that reflect your plan.  Live by that calendar:  If tonight is your dine out club, take your cell phone or give the number where you will be, and go have fun.  If you planned to enroll this semester at school, keep your plan.  Your calendar is your foundation for mental health.  Since you have a life, as reflected in your calendar, disappointing or stressful events will affect you, but not nearly as much as if you had no life of your own.  The calendar points your way to the future that you have chosen.  Socially – by asking for support from extended family, friends, your community and social groups to which you belong. Spiritually – by prayer, fellowship, meditation.

Remember, stress is not reality. Stress is how your mind reacts to the reality around it.  For instance, when you receive a message from the doctor asking you to call, your automatic response may be stress, but you can pause-choose to remain neutral, and check back with the doctor.  If the news is disappointing, you can once again become stressed or listen to your Higher Power-realize that stress will make it worse for all concerned.  The news is beyond your control-but how you react to the news is absolutely within your control.

Recycle Anything.yes Anything!

Monday, May 18th, 2009
Tony Roberts asked:

Crushing down plastic soda bottles, crushing aluminum cans, putting your empty bottles in a can; taking all of this down to the recycle store, this is what people call RECYCLING. But, there’s more to it. Nowadays recycling has become reincarnation for these used products; you can turn medicine bottles into life jackets and old running shoes into new playground surfacing. Discover how and where to recycle everything you never thought you could…

Clothing

Goodwill provides job training to people with special needs, and affordable clothing and other household goods. Pick-up service is typically provided, but you can also drop off clothing at any location. Use the ZIP code locator at www.goodwill.org to find a location near you.

Salvation Army runs many social service programs such as homeless services and disaster-relief efforts. Drop off your items at any of its thrift stores nationwide, or arrange to have them picked up. To find a location near you go to www.salvationarmyusa.org

Fleece

Patagonia’s Common Threads Garment Recycling Program will recycle your used Patagonia fleece, Polartec fleece from other manufacturers and Patagonia organic cotton t-shirts. Please make sure you wash them first before you take them to any Patagonia store.

Did you know? Patagonia will also recycle your Patagonia Capilene underwear, washed of course.

Formal Dresses

The Glass Slipper Project collects new and almost-new formal dresses and accessories and provides them, free of charge, to high school students who are unable to buy their own ensembles for Prom.

Shoes

Turn in your old athletic shoes, any brand, to Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe program so they can be ground up into new material and used in a different way to make new sports surfaces and playground surfacing.

Recycle your old Crocs and they will be shredded to make padding for children’s playgrounds. Mail them to: Crocs 1510 Nelson Road, Longmont, CO 80501 and clearly mark the outside of the package with "RECYCLE!"

Gently worn shoes can be donated to Soles4Souls which is a nonprofit organization that will clean them and distribute them worldwide to those in need. Recently more than 900,000 pairs of shoes were collected in a coordinated relief effort for donation to victims of the Asian Tsunami, and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. So round up those shoes that are taking up space in your closet, bind each pair together with a rubber band, and send them to one of Soles4Soul’s two warehouse facilities.

Wedding dresses

By donating your dress to "Brides Against ****** Cancer" you will enable brides-to-be to find one-of-a-kind gowns at discount prices and the proceeds will help grant a wish for a woman with terminal ****** cancer.

Televisions

Televisions contain toxic materials which can contaminate the environment if broken in a landfill. In 1997 the U.S. EPA declared computer monitors and TV screens as hazardous waste and banned them from landfills. Because of their toxic nature there is usually a fee to recycle televisions. For a nominal fee, Best Buy will haul away televisions, computer monitors, and appliances when new purchases are made or delivered. Best Buy also hosts a series of weekend recycling events at its store parking lots across the U.S. Find a recycling event in your area

You can donate TVs in good working condition to the Salvation Army, Goodwill or other thrift stores.

Household items

If your household items are in good shape, then you can donate them for reuse to the Salvation Army, Goodwill and other thrift stores. Or you can give them to Habitat for Humanity and help make affordable housing a little homier. Search Earth 911 for donation spots in your area.

Appliances

Donate working toasters, blenders, microwaves, etc. to your local Habitat for Humanity and help make affor
dable housing a little homier.

Cutlery/utensils

Not all curbside recycling programs accept metal cutlery. These can be donated for reuse to the Salvation Army, Goodwill or thrift stores. Find out more about your municipal recycling program from the National Recycling Coalition.

Furniture

Freecycle.com is an international grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. One person’s trash is another person’s treasure! Everything posted on Freecycle is free; individuals and groups work out their own bartering systems.  Sell it on Craig’s List and you make the arrangements with the buyer for pick-up/drop-off.  Or if eBay is your seller of choice, consider using Mission Fish to support your favorite causes through trading on eBay. A portion of the profits go to a nonprofit of your choosing, and you get a tax deductible receipt!

Excess Access serves both charities and the environment by matching your unwanted household materials with the wish-lists of nearby nonprofits that can provide pick-ups or accept drop-offs.

Donate furniture and other household goods to Goodwill International, Salvation Army, or the Vietnam Veterans of America (who will pick it up from the sidewalk in front of your house). One main source of funding for the Vietnam Veterans of America is through the solicitation and resale of donated household items.

Pots and pans

Not all curbside recycling programs recycle metal pots and pans. These can be donated for reuse to the Salvation Army, Goodwill or thrift stores. Find out more about your municipal recycling program from the National Recycling Coalition.

Tools

Donate tools to your local Habitat for Humanity where they can be put to good use building affordable housing.

I didn’t know I could recycle this:

Don’t give up on your stuff! There’s a better option than the trash and we found it. Scroll through our list and find out how to recycle everything from makeup to eyeglasses, paint, light bulbs, and even your toothbrush.

Aresol cans

Most curbside recycling programs accept empty aerosol cans sorted with other glass and metal recyclables. Find out if yours does too at the Earth 911 website.

Eyeglasses

Drop off your old prescription eye glasses, or even non-prescription sunglasses at a LensCrafters near you. LensCrafter’s charity, Give the Gift of Sight provides free vision care and eyewear to under-privileged individuals in North America and developing countries around the world. Or, send them to Lions in Sight, another organization bringing basic eye care and eyeglasses to the needy.

Hangers

Sort wire hangers with other glass and metal recyclables for curbside recycling pick-up.

Your local dry cleaners will happily accept and reuse your old wire or plastic hangers on new customers.

Light Bulbs

Unfortunately you can’t sort these with other types of glass for recycling. Most states do not have special requirements for the disposal of regular household mercury-containing flourescent or incandescent light bulbs. To keep more light bulbs from ending up in landfills, buy a compact flourescent (CFL) bulb; it lasts for years longer than regular incandescent bulbs. Lamp Recycle keeps a list of companies that do recycle light bulbs and the states that regulate them.

Makeup

You should only keep concealer, lipstick, eye and lip liners, fragrances, powders, blushes, and shadows for a year and a half to two years. But there are still ways to practice sustainable beauty. One good way is to reusable compact cases for eyeshadows, blushes, and powders, and then just buy the refills when you run out. Stila makeup sells cheek and eye colors separate from their refillable compact case ($2). All of M.A.C.’s plastic packaged cosmetics are recyclable. Return six used items at any M.A.C. counter and receive a free lipstick in return.

Did you know that Cargo’s PlantLove lipsticks come in a compostable lipstick case made from corn? This revolutionary bio-plastic is not only made from a renewable resource, it’s also greenhouse gas neutral, which helps us fight global warming. What’s more, you can plant the box the lipstick comes in and it will grow wildflowers!

Paint

Sort dried-out paint cans with other glass and metal recyclables for curbside pick-up. Remove the lid first and allow paint to dry fully, so that turned upside down, nothing spills out.

Donate new or leftover paint to your local Habitat for Humanity and make affordable housing homier.

Toothbrushes

The online retail website Toothbrush Express offers a toothbrush recycling program. Sign up to receive new toothbrushes at predefined intervals ranging from monthly to semi-annually. And for a few dollars extra the company will include pre-paid postage with each shipment for you to send back your old ones.

Another wise eco-choice is the Terradent line of toothbrushes from Eco-Dent. These innovative toothbrushes have replaceable heads, so that once the bristles have worn out, consumers can retain the toothbrush handle and just snap on a new head, thus minimizing waste.

The handle of a Recycline Preserve toothbrush, designed by dentists, is made out of recycled plastic from Stonyfield Yogurt cups. When you’ve finished using it you can either put it out on the curb with other recyclables (if your community offers #5 plastics recycling), or send it back to Recycline in a pre-paid envelope supplied to you with your purchase. It will likely then be reborn again as raw material for a picnic table, deck, boardwalk or other long lasting durable product. If you just can’t live without your electric toothbrush we’ve got something for you!

Radius offers stylish sustainable toothbrushes made from naturally occurring cellulose derived from sustainable yield forests. They have a battery-powered electric Intelligent Toothbrush that uses replaceable heads to reduce environmental impact. The company will take back the handle for recycling once the battery is worn out, usually after about 18 months.

Paper

In 2006 a record 53.4 percent of the paper consumed in the U.S. (53.5 million tons) was recovered for recycling. Paper is generally divided into high and low grades in reference to the quality of the paper or pulp and can be sorted together for curbside recycling pick-up.

Books

If your household items are in good shape, then you can donate them for reuse to the Salvation Army, Goodwill and other thrift stores. Search Earth 911 for donation spots in your area.

High grade paper

Sort with other dry paper goods for curbside recycling pick-up. High grade papers are computer print-out, white ledger (office paper) in single sheets or continuous form such as white notebook paper, and colored ledger. High Grade white office paper can be recycled into almost any paper product, including tissue.

Low grade paper

Sort with other dry paper goods for curbside recycling pick-up. Low grade papers are cardboard, newspaper, magazines, and mixed office paper, which is a mixture of various grades including windowed envelopes and sticky notes. Used newspapers are usually made into new newsprint or egg cartons. Used corrugated boxes are recycled into new boxes or paperboard.

mail

Mail is Low Grade paper. It can be sorted with other dry paper goods for curbside recycling pick-up.

Did you know? Registering with the National Do Not Mail List reduces junk mail and removes your name from direct advertising mail lists.

Packaging peanuts

Take your old packing peanuts down to any UPS or Mail Boxes Etc. and they’ll be glad to take them off your hands.

Plastics

The confusion over which plastics can or cannot be recycled continues to confound consumers. While common knowledge indicates that "good" plastics (
numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5) are more readily recycled, and "bad" (numbers 3, 6 and 7) aren’t, the truth is, different types of plastic require different processing, and even a small amount of the wrong type of plastic can ruin the reprocessing. Some municipalities accept all types of plastic for recycling, while others accept only jugs, or containers and bottles with certain numbers stamped on the bottoms. The number system we’re familiar with–a single digit ranging from 1 to 7 and surrounded by a the recycling symbol, a triangle of arrows–was designed by The Society of the Plastics Industry in 1988 to allow consumers and recyclers to differentiate types of plastics while providing a uniform coding system for manufacturers. The number symbols are located on the bottom of plastic containers. Sometimes they are small and you have to look hard to find them. Scroll through our list to learn more about which plastics you can recycle.

Plastics 1

Polyethylene terephthalate’s (PETE), commonly found in bottles for soda, water, juice, beer, mouthwash, ketchup, salad dressing, medicine containers, and microwavable food trays are readily accepted by curbside recycling programs. They can be made into fiberfill for winter coats, sleeping bags, life jackets, bean bags, rope, tennis ball felt, combs, cassette tapes, boat sails, furniture, and of course, other plastic bottles.

Plastics 2

High-density polyethylene plastics (HDPE), commonly found in heavier containers that hold laundry detergents and bleaches as well as milk, shampoo, and motor oil are readily accepted by curbside recycling programs. They can be made into toys, piping, lumber, and rope.

Plastics 3

Polyvinyl chloride, commonly found in plastic pipes, shower curtains, medical tubing, vinyl dashboards, and baby bottle nipples, is accepted by few curbside recycling programs due to its low rate of recyclability. Check the Earth 911 website to see if your municipal recycling center accepts number 3’s.

Plastics 4

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), commonly found in plastic wrapping films for food or dry cleaning, as well as grocery or sandwich bags, is accepted by very few curbside recycling programs. Unfortunately, most plastic bags will end up in the trash. However Whole Foods, Wal-Mart, and Wegman’s Food Marts will recycle any plastic bags if you take them to the store. Check the Earth 911 website to see if your municipal recycling center accepts number 4’s.

Plastics 5

Polypropylene, commonly found in self-sealing containers, like Tupperware, is accepted by very few curbside recycling programs due to its very low rate of recyclability. Check the Earth 911 website to see if your municipal recycling center accepts number 5’s.

Plastics 6

Polystyrene (Styrofoam), commonly found in coffee cups, disposable cutlery, meat trays, packing peanuts, and insulation are widely accepted by curbside recycling programs. They can be made into cassette tapes and insulation. Check the Earth 911 website to see if your municipal recycling center accepts number 6’s. You can also take Styrofoam or packing peanuts that are clean and in good condition to any UPS Store or Mail Boxes Etc. for recycling.

Plastics 7

Mixed or layered plastics have virtually no recycling potential. These are usually imprinted with a number 7 or nothing at all. Ambitious consumers can feel free to return such items to the product manufacturers to avoid contributing to local waste. Check the Earth 911 website to see if your municipal recycling center accepts number 7’s.

Cell Phone Protection against Virus and Radiation

Thursday, May 14th, 2009
sheldonkalnitsky asked:

Cell Phone Protection against radiations:

There are now predictable to be 208 million cell phone users in the U.S. alone, 1.9 billion all over the world. Scientists panic we might be on the verge of a health calamities of epidemic proportions. Dr. George Carlo, previous chief scientist of the cellular phone industry’s $28 million safety research project, estimates 500,000 new cases of brain and eye cancer every year by 2010 attributable to cellular phone use (there are at present 30-50,000 cases every year).

Studies have linked cellular phone radiation to health problems like headaches, high blood pressure, brain tumors, cancer, Alzheimer’s, and many more. There is a latency period for most diseases and it may take many years and more studies prior to the needed weight of evidence are founded. But the effects are cumulative and safety measures ought to be taken now before it is too late.

Here are few steps you can take to diminish/lessen the effects of cellular phone radiation contact:

1. Limit use to necessary calls and keep calls short. Even a two-minute call has been found to change the innate electrical activity of the brain for up to an hour afterwards.

2. Children ought to be permitted to use the cellular phone in cases of urgent situation only. Because of their developing skulls, the radiation can penetrate much more deeply.

3. Usage of ear an air tube headset (not normal wired headset). The regular wired headset has been established to deepen radiation into the ear canal. The wire transmits not only the radiation from the cell phone but also serves as an antenna drawing EMFs (electromagnetic fields) from the environs

4. Don’t put the cellular phone in your pocket or belt at the time of its usage. The body tissue in the lower body area has fine conductivity and ***** up radiation more rapidly than the head. One study shows that men who wear cellular phones near their groin could have their ***** count plunged by as much as 30 percent.

5. In case you’re using the phone without a headset, wait for the call to connect prior to placing the phone next to the ear.

6. Do not use the cellular phone in enclosed metal spaces like vehicles or elevators, where devices might use more power to set up connection. The metal enclosure also acts as a Faraday cage that traps the radiation and reflects it back onto the inhabitants.

7. Do not make a call when the signal strength is one bar or less, which means the mobile phone, ought to work harder to set up a connection.

8. Buy a phone with a low SAR (Specific Absorption Rate). Most cellular phones have a SAR level listed in its instruction guide. The SAR level is a way of measuring the amount of radiofrequency (RF) energy that is absorbed by the body. The lesser the number the better. (Be aware, nevertheless, that studies with RF hundreds of times lower than present SAR limits still show biological consequences.

9. Use a scientifically validated EMF protection device. There are advanced technologies available nowadays that strengthen your bioenergy field and immune system against the effects of EMF. The EMF radiation causes a problem only when the cumulative effects due to frequent exposure weaken the body’s ability to mend itself. Even when you don’t use the cellular phone, ’second-hand’ radiation and EMFs from other devices may also cause biological stress, so these kinds of devices are becoming more vital.

10. Take nutritional supplements, mainly anti-oxidants SOD, catalase, glutathione, and Coq10. Microwave radiation has been shown to lessen levels of these anti-oxidants in the body. These are stuffs the body makes to protect itself, and their levels are sensitive indicators in strain, aging, infections and different other disease states. Other supplements you might require are:

- Melatonin: a powerful anti-oxidant noted to avert DNA breaks in brain cells. Also effective in averting kidney damage from cellular phones;

- Zinc: safeguards the eye from oxidative damage and helps protects the levels of anti-oxidants in the blood;

- Gingko Biloba: an herb considered an influential anti-oxidant which averts oxidative damage in the brain, eye and kidney. Also helps support the manufacture of SOD, catalase and glutathione;

- Bilberry extract: conserves vision and lessens oxidative damage to the eyes.

This list is not exhaustive but represents dissimilar layers of interference you may do right away to guard yourself and your folks. Cellular phone radiation (and wireless radiation generally) poses a tremendous public health risk that can take years to become completely recognized. Certain experts go on to say that if estimates are right, then we are on the verge of a health calamities that could cripple our present health infrastructure. Let’s not wait and find out if this proves factual.

Cell Phone Protection from virus:

Forty-nine million people can now tap into the Internet by cellular phone and that number is estimated to double in the subsequently year, but these so-called smart phones may not be very smart when it comes to viruses. As customer specialist Ric Romero found out, these cellular phones can be infected just like computers. Yes, a virus could target your cellular phone, but there are a lot more ways to protect your phone from getting infected.

Mark Copeland, a cellular phone user, lately got a new cell phone and it is loaded. His cell phone has Internet, email and it can even bond/connect wirelessly to his laptop. One more thing it can do is catch a virus.

But he ought to, particularly if he downloads documents, pictures or music.

Symantec spokesperson Sarah Hicks says, “We’re starting to see an augmented amount of these kinds of malware hit cellular phones and wireless PDA’s.”

Cell viruses are frequently disguised as free games. They are very interesting to youth and young adults, but they can harm your phone.

Hicks stated that the damage can be anything from just changing some of the settings to in fact stopping the operation of the device and stealing information. Even draining your minutes, making long distance calls at your cost.

A lot of smart phones have built-in safety that computers don’t. But smart phones are susceptible, even more so when they use Bluetooth.

Bluetooth lets people to use a wireless earpiece or to beam phone numbers amid a phone and PC.

Joe Farren with CTIA-The Wireless Association says, “Sometimes viruses can travel through the Bluetooth. So what we advise is people turn off their Bluetooth when their device is not having contact with another device.”

But most of the people don’t. When Mark Copland’s computer searched for his phone’s wireless connection, it also found another cellular phone not far away. That can be an open door for a virus.

“Subscribers ought to still take the same safety measures with their wireless phone as they do with their PC,” says Farren.

If you access e-mail on your cell, be cautious. “Don’t open attachments from populace you don’t know. Only download content from trusted basis,” says Hicks.

A lot of anti-virus companies are now providing software to protect wireless devices.

By the way, if you are a Blackberry user, you will be satisfied to know they are hard to infect. While they can read e-mail, they can’t download programs and that is how most viruses get into cells.

Brain Tumor: Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment

Friday, May 8th, 2009
Peter sams asked:

The growth of abnormal cells in the tissues of the brain. Brain tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous).

Brain tumors are classified depending on the exact site of the tumor, the type of tissue involved, benign or malignant tendencies of the tumor, and other factors. Primary brain tumors can arise from the brain cells, the meninges (membranes around the brain), nerves, or glands.

Causes of Brain Tumor

The cause of primary brain tumors is unknown. This is because they are rare, there are many types, and there are many possible risk factors that could play a role. Exposure to some types of radiation, head injuries, and hormone replacement therapy may be risk factors, as well as many others. The risk of using cell phones is hotly debated.

Genetic mutations and deletions of tumor suppressor genes (i.e., genes that suppress the development of malignant cells) increase the risk for some types of brain cancer. Inherited diseases that are associated with brain tumors include the following:

Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (pituitary adenoma)

Neurofibromatosis type 2 (brain and spinal cord tumors)

Retinoblastoma (malignant retinal glioma)

Tuberous sclerosis (primary brain tumors)

Von Hippel-Lindau disease (retinal tumor, CNS tumors)

Signs and Symptoms of Brain Tumor

Signs and symptoms can include the following:

New onset or change in pattern of headaches

Headaches that gradually become more frequent and more severe

Unexplained nausea or vomiting

Vision problems, such as blurred vision, double vision or loss of peripheral vision

Gradual loss of sensation or movement in an arm or a leg

Difficulty with balance

Speech difficulties

Confusion in everyday matter.

Diagnosis

Computed tomography (CT Scan): A computerized x-ray machine is used to take a series of detailed pictures from many different angles. Dye may be injected to help to clarify organs and tissues.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): Powerful magnets waves are used to make a series of detailed pictures. Patients are injected with a substance called gadolinium to highlight possible cancer cells.

Angiogram. This imaging test uses a dye to visualize all the blood vessels in the brain to detect certain types of tumors.

Lumbar puncture/spinal tap. For this procedure, a special needle is placed into the lower back and into the spinal canal around the spinal cord. A small amount of cerebrospinal fluid, which surrounds the brain and spinal cord, can be removed and sent for testing.

Treatment

Surgery is required to determine whether a brain tumor exists and what type of tumor it is. A small sample of tumor tissue may be surgically removed and examined under a microscope. This is called a biopsy. Sometimes a biopsy is done by making a small hole in the skull and using a needle to extract a sample of the tumor.

Radiation therapy is a cancer treatment that uses high-energy x-rays or other types of radiation to kill cancer cells. There are two types of radiation therapy. External radiation therapy uses a machine outside the body to send radiation toward the cancer. Internal radiation therapy uses a radioactive substance sealed in needles, seeds, wires, or catheters that are placed directly into or near the cancer. The way the radiation therapy is given depends on the type and stage of the cancer being treated.

Toxic Twentieth Century, What Can We Do?

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009
Camry James asked:

Polluted Human Body

The human body becomes toxic or polluted from both external (exogenous) sources and internal (endogenous) sources. The most common external pathways of toxicity are from inhalation (smoking, air pollution, dental amalgam fillings, sick buildings), ingestion (chemical residues on food, chemicals in water, drugs) injection (vaccinations, flu shots, tattoos), absorption from chemicals from synthetic fabrics, paints, plastics, pesticides and chemical fertilizers sprayed on lawns, and irradiation from medical x-rays, nuclear power plants, bomb testing, uranium mine tailings, cell phones and towers, computer monitors and televisions, microwave ovens, and power grid and radio and satellite transmissions. The modern way of life has not only made our life easier, but has also put our very existence in danger, danger from radiation and pollution.

Damage To Our Immune Systems

The internal sources of toxicity are from fermentation, putrification, and rancidity from undigested foods consumed, and from dehydration, malnutrition, and toxic thoughts and emotions. This endogenous toxicity can also be caused from the effects of exogenous toxins contributing to malnutrition, and inhibition of digestion through damage to the nervous system, immune system, and enzyme systems. With that, we have to take all measures to detoxify.

What is Detoxification?

Detoxification is the process of clearing toxins from the body or neutralizing or transforming them, and clearing excess mucus and congestion. Many of these toxins come from our diet, drug use, and environmental exposure, both acute and chronic. Internally, fats, especially oxidized fats and cholesterol, free radicals, and other irritating molecules act as toxins. Poor digestion, colon sluggishness and dysfunction, reduced liver function, and poor elimination through the kidneys, respiratory tract, and skin all add to increased toxicity. However the most efficient detoxification organ we have is our skin. Our skin contains millions of pores which are equipped to flush out toxins. Flushing out toxins has never been easier with Sauna Therapy!

Symptoms of Being Too Toxic

Constipation and diarrhea, are also indications of foul matter in your intestines. Furthermore, the much more serious problems of cancer and immune system dysfunctions begin with a toxic bowel. Go ahead, purge those foul matter out of your body!

Once we truly understand that the “single greatest challenge our bodies face is the effective removal of wastes and toxins”, we will never again undermine the importance of frequent bowel movements. Do consult with your doctor if you do decide to take any form of laxatives.

Toxic Twentieth Century

Toxicity is of much greater concern in the twentieth century than ever before. There are many new and stronger chemicals, air and water pollution, radiation and nuclear power. We ingest new chemicals, use more drugs of all kinds, eat more sugar and refined foods, and daily abuse ourselves with various stimulants and sedatives. The incidence of many toxicity diseases has increased as well. Cancer and cardiovascular disease are two of the main ones. Our body just can no longer cope with all the toxins around us any longer!

Arthritis, allergies, obesity, and many skin problems are others. In addition, a wide range of symptoms, such as headaches, fatigue, pains, coughs, gastrointestinal problems, and problems from immune weakness, can all be related to toxicity.

Flushing Out Toxins

However, we now have a great way of detoxifying by using our main detox organ, which is our skin. Yes, sweating has proven to release more toxins than frequent bowel movement! Your sweat contains more toxins, urea and heavy metal than urine itself. One great way of sweating out all the toxins is by going through sauna therapy. The heat from the sauna forces your body to pump out all the toxins stored within into your sweat system and thus flushes out all the toxins from your body!

So what are you waiting for? Head to your nearest Sauna! Or better yet, get your very own personal sauna.

Common Complexion Questions

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009
Barry Lycka asked:

As we get older our skin changes, and with those changes we wonder, What’s happening to my skin? As adults, we believe we shouldn’t be experiencing the torments of acne as we did as a teenager, or we notice brown spots that suddenly appear out of nowhere. We also worry about those days gone by when we used baby oil as tanning lotion. Here are the most common questions adults are asking their dermatologists.

Acne

Why am I experiencing acne now that I’m older?

Acne usually occurs on the face, neck, back, chest and shoulders. Adult acne is caused by a combination of several factors: hormones leading to excess oil secretion, faulty closing of the hair duct, and infection.

Acne develops when a sebaceous gland, which is connected to a pore and contains a fine hair, becomes blocked with sebum, an oily substance made by the sebaceous glands that normally empties onto the skin’s surface through the opening of the pore. If a pore becomes clogged and prevents the sebum from reaching the surface of the skin, bacteria that normally lives on the skin begins to grow in the pore. These bacteria produce chemicals and enzymes and attract white blood cells that cause inflammation. When the wall of the clogged pore breaks down sebum, dead skin cells and bacteria seep into the nearby skin, leading to pimples.

Here is a list of other situations that may cause a breakout:

1. Women: two to seven days before their menstrual period begins

2. Friction caused by leaning on or rubbing the skin

3. Pressure from bike helmets, backpacks, or tight collars

4. Environmental irritants, such as pollution and high humidity

5. Squeezing or picking at blemishes

6. Hard scrubbing of the skin

How can I treat my acne?

Although there are many remedies you can purchase at the local drugstore, consult your dermatologist first to determine what type of acne you have. He may then prescribe a medication specifically to meet your needs. The biggest breakthrough in acne treatment has been the development of topical retinoic acid, a form of vitamin A. Other acne products consist of the following ingredients:

1. Azelaic acid cream

2. Alpha-hydroxy acids (including glycolic acid, lactic acid, and gluconic acid)

3. Benzoyl peroxide

4. Topical antibiotics (gels, lotions, and solutions)

5. Antibiotic pills

6. Birth control (for women)

7. Accutane or Sotret for severe acne (women who choose this treatment must be on some type of birth control)

Aside from medications, keep in mind that a healthy lifestyle can also prevent breakouts, such as: getting plenty of sleep, drinking a lot of water, and eating a balanced, healthy diet.

Also consider cleaning items in your home that may be contain germs, such as: the phone, dirty towels, pillowcases and sheets

Skin Types

What type of skin do I have? There are six categories of skin types:

1. Dry

2. Somewhat dry

3. Normal

4. Somewhat oily

5. Oily

6. Combination.

Skin type, which is determined by the amount of oil secretion, is hereditary. The different areas in the skin that produce oil and the amounts of oil produced are based on genetics.

Some women classify themselves as having sensitive skin. Overexposure to the elements or overuse of products can lead to skin allergies or sensitivities. To avoid this, try to minimize the number of products you use and try to find products designated for sensitive skin whenever possible.

Hyperpigmentation

What are these brown spots on my skin?

Hyperpigmentation comes in many forms, including freckles, melasma, liver spots, sun spots, acne scars or wounds. Hyperpigmentation results from too much abnormal melanin (dark brown to black pigment occuring in the hair, skin and iris of the eyes) within the superficial skin cells. The main causes of increased melanin production are acute sunburn and chronic sun exposure. The second most common cause is hormonal change as a result of pregnancy, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy. Another cause of hyperpigmentation is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that occurs after a wound or blemish heals.

Cleansing

How many times a day should I wash my face?

Cleansing is essential for your skins long-term health, however, cleansing can strip your skins protective oils that act as natural barriers to the elements. Washing your face any more than twice daily can lead to dry, irritated skin. When cleaning your face, use tepid water and a gentle cleanser if you have sensitive skin. If you have oily skin, do not be tempted to wash your face when it gets oily throughout the day. Try using oil blotting papers instead.

Here’s a clear way to cleanse your face:

1. Choose a cleanser that is formulated for your skin type;

2. wash your hands before you cleanse your face; 3. splash your face with warm water (hot water will stimulate and expand ****** blood vessels, which can give you a flushed appearance);

4. work the cleanser into a lather, then gently massage it into your skin in a circular motion with your fingertips do not forget your hairline and neck;

5. remove the cleanser by splashing your neck and face with warm water;

6. blot your face with a clean towel (don not rub your face, it could cause irritation);

7. dampen a cotton ball in toner or Witch Hazel;

8. skim over your neck and face to remove any trace of cleanser you might have missed; and

9. apply your favorite moisturizer.

Skin Cancer

What causes skin cancer?

There are three main types of skin cancer:

1. Basal cell carcinoma

2. Squamous cell carcinoma

3. Melanoma

Basal cell and squamous cell cancers make up 95% of all skin cancers and are highly curable when treated early. Melanoma, made up of abnormal skin pigment cells, called melanocytes, is a serious form of skin cancer and causes 75% of all skin cancer deaths. Left untreated, it can spread to other organs and is difficult to control.

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun is the number one cause of skin cancer, and UV light from tanning beds is just as harmful. Exposure to sunlight during the winter months puts you at the same risk as exposure during the summertime.

Excessive and unprotected sun exposure causes basal cell and squamous cell skin cancer, while episodes of severe sunburns, usually before age 18, can later cause melanoma. Other less common causes are repeated X-ray exposure, scars from burns or disease and occupational exposure to certain chemicals.

NUKED IN YOUR KITCHEN

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009
William Thomas asked:

Our culture of convenience is killing us. If the stress of buying and replacing an endless array of gadgets isn’t harsh enough, our addiction to appliances unheard of only a few decades ago is propelling us toward mass misery, death and health care cost calamity on a scale not seen since cars and cigarettes became as personally essential as all the consumer crazes that followed.

Like Big Tobacco’s cynical cover-up, the conspiracy of silence and corporate-government complicity surrounding cell phones, cell phone relay towers, microwave ovens and the “wireless revolution” is unleashing an invisible plague upon our lives.

And we love it. Racing faster and faster to keep pace with tireless electronic machines that never need to eat or sleep, we have come to equate being fully alive with being fully “wired”.

But the electrochemical exchanges that enable cells to function and communicate in human brains and bodies are so subtle, and so delicately attuned to Earth’s own quietly humming electromagnetics, the inaudible “noise” from so many clever devices threatens to drown the very signals on which all life depends. And there is nothing convenient about cancer.

LAST CHANCE CENTURY

Already we are seeing unfolding epidemics of cancers, brain damage and immune dysfunction that threaten the “best and the brightest” students and executives among technologically advanced and emerging nations. Particularly hard hit will be the next generation on which so much depends. For this is our “Last Chance Century” to stop abusing ourselves and the planet on which we depend – and it is the young who are most vulnerable to the most pervasive human-made pollution ever unleashed: electromagnetic smog.

Whether portable phone or microwave wonder, exposing your three million year-old hominid self to energy levels never before encountered in primate evolution is a spectacularly bad idea. [rfsafe.com]

Talk about a triple threat! It turns out that the microwaves messing up your cells from your aptly named “cell phone”, neighborhood cell phone tower, or newly acquired long-range cordless phone are radiating at the same 2.45 Gigahertz frequency emitted by your microwave oven.

Studies of plant, animal and human susceptibility to electromagnetic fields show that the higher the frequency the more damage results. Instead of talking on your cell phone while eating a microwaved meal, you might as well go live next to Chernobyl’s leaky containment dome.

MICROWAVE SICKNESS

The Russians call the symptoms of this new radiation hazard, “Microwave Sickness”. After capturing the first karmically-compromised microwave ovens from their **** inventors, the Soviets expanded on the Reich’s initial two-year research in Berlin by looking hard at microwave maladies from 1957 until nearly the end of the Cold War – when the Kremlin banned these infernal machines.

Conducted at the Institute of Radio Technology in Byelorussia and the Institute of Radio Technology in the USSR, the Russians saw red after finding cancer-making compounds formed in virtually all foods nuked in microwave ovens – including meats, milk and grains, frozen fruits, raw or frozen vegetables.

As Anthony Wayne and Lawrence Newell point out in “The Hidden Hazards Of Microwave Cooking”, Russian researchers also found decreased nutritional value – or significant dimming of their “vital energy field” – in up to 90% in all microwaved foods.

In addition, the B complex, C and E vitamins linked with stress-reduction and the prevention of cancer and heart disease – as well as the essential trace minerals needed for optimum brain and body functioning – were rendered useless by microwaves, even at short cooking durations.

Not only is microwaved food reduced to the nutritional equivalent of cardboard, lymphatic disorders leading to an inability to prevent certain cancers were also observed, along with increased rates of cancer cell formation in the blood of people eating microwaved meals. The Russians reported increased rates of stomach and intestinal cancers, as well as digestive and excretive disorders – plus a higher percentage of cell tumors, including sarcoma – in people exposed to food molecularly ripped apart by these dangerous devices.

Renowned for their work in physics and electromagnetic research, Russian scientists found that as brain circuitry breaks down, disturbances in the alpha, theta, and delta brainwaves varying between rest and concentration occurred at “markedly higher levels” among those exposed to microwave radiation, as well as microwaved foods.

ZAPPED!

It turns out that eating over-energized food “zapped” in a microwave imparts that energy to the human nervous system. The resulting stress causes a high blood pressure response, with such characteristic symptoms as migraines, dizziness, stomach pain and anxiety.

Higher incidences of hair loss, appendicitis, cataracts and reproductive problems have also been found among constant consumers of microwaved food – with women’s more complex hormones and plumbing proving particularly vulnerable. Regardless of gender, adrenal exhaustion and heart disease caused by microwave food stress, the Russian researchers stressed, can be fatal.

BRAIN STORMS

They also found that regularly consuming food “nuked” in a microwave also leads to memory loss and attention disorders – as well as increased crankiness, depression, disconnected thoughts and sleep interruption.

Sound familiar? After years of independent writing and research, this reporter is convinced that the oft-remarked “dumbing down” of America is directly linked to “stupid schools”, constant urban noise, poor nutrition and hypno-television flicker – as well as dangerously incessant levels of electromagnetic smog acting synergistically with proven brain-damaging compounds such as aspartame, fluoridated water, antidepressants and food shattered by microwave ovens.

Recent research confirms that the spikes of violently oscillating energy pulsed into microwaved meals and transferred to the blood stream by eating these foods can cause permanent brain damage by “shorting out” intercellular signals and “de-polarizing” brain tissue which depends on natural +/- electrical polarities to function.

Reporting clinical findings from Novosibirsk in 1975, IR Luria sealed the fate of microwave ovens throughout Mother Russia the following year when he noted how “These effects can cause virtually irreversible damage to the neuroelectrical integrity of the various components of the nervous system.” Luria lambasted microwave ovens, concluding: “Ingestion of microwaved foods is clearly contraindicated in all respects.”

But in 1976, the same corporate-controlled US media that later failed to flag Americans on glaring 911 anomalies and the manufactured “threat” from a shattered Iraq, also neglected to report the Soviet government’s ban on “microwaves” – which were by then taking over cooking chores in nine out of ten American homes.

While the USSR were busy issuing an international alarm over microwave cooking hazards, back in the USA a sudden onslaught of colon cancer coincided precisely with the “craze” for microwave ovens and food.

DANGEROUS OSCILLATIONS

So what’s going on in your microwave? Unlike the direct radiant heat from regular ovens and toaster ovens – which cook food like a Paleolithic campfire from the outside in – space age microwave ovens hurl high-frequency microwaves that boil the moisture within food and its packaging by whipsawing water molecules dizzyingly back-and-forth at more than a billion reversals per second.

This frenetic friction fractu
res food molecules, rearranging their chemical composition into weird new configurations unrecognizable as food by human bodies – which tend to react as if confronted by terrorists wearing grotesque masks.

Eating molecularly-molested foods alters your blood chemistry, too.

HANZEL AND GRETTLE REVISITED

How’s this for microwave magic: Eat your organic veggies zapped by microwaves and send your cholesterol soaring! As noted in my previous article, “Cooked”, Swiss scientist Hertel harrumphs: “Blood cholesterol levels are less influenced by cholesterol content of the food than by stress factors” in non-fat microwaved foods.

Before being ordered to shut up by the Swiss government acting on behalf of microwave oven manufacturers, Hertel heroically remarked in 1991 that eating food altered in a microwave also derails the body’s remarkable repair and regeneration powers, leaving cells “easy prey for viruses, fungi and other micro-organisms.”

A few months later, a “Comparative Study of Food Prepared Conventionally and in the Microwave Oven” backed the heretic Hertel when independent investigators Zelt and Raum revealed, “Microwaved food contains both molecules and energies not present in food cooked in the way humans have been cooking food since the discovery of fire.”

The resulting radiolytic compounds created by deformed microwaved molecules introduce “into the human body molecules and energies to which it is not accustomed,” Zelt and Raum remonstrated. In fact, our bodies cannot break down these alien compounds without producing extremely toxic wastes in the bloodstream that courses through all organs and tissues.

CALL A KOPP

Reporting for the Forensic Research Document of AREC Research, William P. Kopp now states: “The effects of microwaved food by-products are long term, permanent within the human body. Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.”

There is no qualifying “maybe” concerning this Kopp’s conclusions: “Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence,” he declared.

LETHAL PLASTIC

Dr. Mercola concurs: “Recent research shows that microwave oven-cooked food suffers severe molecular damage. When eaten, it causes abnormal changes in human blood and immune systems. Not surprisingly, the public has been denied details on these significant health dangers.” [mercola.com]

On January 27, 2003 MD Allan Spreen wrote in “Micro Management” that microwave cooking studies “universally describe some type of damage” – including the complete degradation of vitamin B-12 into useless junk.

Dr. Spreen also vented his spleen denouncing the packaging for many “microwavable” foods. Pizza, French fries, waffles, popcorn, breaded fish, instant noodle soups and similar plastic-wrapped foods become laced with dioxins when zapped in a microwave.

Think pulp mill pollution. Think “Agent Orange” and the near-permanent poisoning of Vietnamese DNA by US military planes spraying megatons of defoliants over families, forests and farms. In both cases, dioxins are doing drastic damage. Next to the weapons-grade plutonium contaminating Denver’s suburbs, and the depleted uranium munitions littering Afghanistan and Iraq, dioxins are the deadliest, most persistent artificially created chemical substance known.

Dr. Edward Fujimoto from Castle Hospital says, unless you really want to do yourself serious harm, do not microwave TV dinners, ramen soups and similarly processed “foods” in a microwave oven using plastic containers – especially foods filled with fat. Fujimoto found that the combination of fat, high heat and plastics releases dioxin into the food, and into the cells of anyone unlucky enough to eat it. Remember, that the more flexible plastics require more hazardous chemicals in their manufacture. Nuking Saran-wrapped foods is insane.

TRY THIS

Here’s a fun experiment you can do at home: Plant seeds in two pots. Water one pot with water nuked in a microwave; the other with “normal” filtered tap water. Surprise! The seeds soaking up microwaved water won’t sprout.

So what do you suppose happens to the life-giving properties of your blood?

TOASTED VS. NUKED

The excellent news is that prudent prevention is as close as saying, “nyet” to microwaved foods. While eating a microwaved meal on extremely rare occasions will probably do less harm than stressing out about it, using a microwave oven for much or most of your home cooking is a ticket to trouble. I prefer to stand back and activate my toaster oven instead. It’s nearly as quick. And the meals it produces taste better, and are much better for me than dining on soul-sucking “Frankenfoods” created in some ex-Nazi nemesis.

It may not be time to return to the horse and buggy. But have you ditched your cellular phone, long-range portable phone, and microwave oven yet?

The time for electromagnetic emancipation is right now.

A PINCH OF CANCER

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009
William Thomas asked:

The Link Between Bras And ****** Cancer

If you didn’t burn yours in the ‘Sixties, you might want to put it away now. “Bras cause ****** cancer. It’s open and shut,” says medical researcher Syd Singer.

The Singers became ****** cancer sleuths in 1991. On the day Soma discovered a lump in her breast, the husband-wife team was studying the effects of Western medicine on Fijians. In the shower, Syd noticed that Soma’s shoulders and ******* were outlined by dark red grooves. He remembered a puzzled Fijian woman asking his wife about her brassiere: “Doesn’t it feel tight?”

“You get used to it,” Soma had replied.

Could bras be constricting ****** tissue, Syd wondered, hampering lymph drainage and causing degeneration?

Soma decided to stop wearing hers. But when Syd searched the medical literature he found no known causes of ****** cancer, which rarely appears before a woman’s mid- thirties, most often after 40. The highest death rates from ****** cancer are in North America and northern Europe, with the developing world catching up fast.

The World Health Organization calls chemical toxins the primary cause of cancer. But poisons accumulating in ****** tissue are normally flushed by clear lymph fluid into large clusters of lymph nodes nestling in the armpits and upper chest. The Singers found that “because lymphatic vessels are very thin, they are extremely sensitive to pressure and are easily compressed.” Chronic minimal pressure on the ******* can cause lymph valves and vessels to close.

“Less oxygen and fewer nutrients are delivered to the cells, while waste products are not flushed away,” the Singers noted. After 15 or 20 years of bra-constricted lymph drainage, cancer can result.

Looking at other cultures, Soma and Syd were struck by the low incidence of ****** cancer in poorer nations awash in pesticides dumped by northern nations. They didn’t find peasant women wearing push-up bras. Instead, they discovered that the Maoris of New Zealand integrated into white culture have the same rate of ****** cancer, while Australia’s marginalized aboriginals have virtually no ****** cancer. The same trend held for “Westernized” Japanese, Fijians and other bra-converted cultures.

In Dressed To Kill: The Link Between ****** Cancer and Bras, the researchers also observed that just before a woman begins her period, estrogen floods her system, causing her ******* to swell. If she continues wearing the same bra size, life-saving lymphatics will be even more tightly squished. Had they found the “estrogen link” to ****** cancer?

Childless women never fully develop their breast-cleansing lymphatic system. Nor do women who have never breast-fed. Working women who wear bras everyday and postpone having children could be at higher risk, the Singers warn.

Even worse, a young woman’s coming of age is often “marked” by her first bra. Like the ancient Chinese practice of foot-binding, “breast-binding” at puberty can eventually lead to severe medical complications.

Could bras be the “missing link” in a growing epidemic of ****** cancer? Beginning in May, 1991, Soma and Syd Singer’s 30-month Bra and ****** Cancer study interviewed some 4,000 women in five major U.S. cities. All were Caucasian of mostly “medium income” ranging in age from 30 to 79. Half had been diagnosed with ****** cancer.

Almost all of the women interviewed were unhappy with the size or shape of their *******. Women who chose a bra for appearance, ignoring soreness and swelling, had twice the rate of ****** cancer of those who did not.

But the most startling statistic was how many women who wore their daytime bras to sleep contracted ****** cancer. So did one out seven women strapped into a bra more than 12 hours a day. Bra-free women have just a one in 168 chance of being diagnosed with ****** cancer, says Singer. The same as bra-free men.

“Don’t sleep in your bra!” Syd Singer pleads. “Women who want to avoid ****** cancer should wear a bra for the shortest period of time possible – certainly for less than 12 hours daily.”

Syd also submits that some 80% of bra-wearers who experience lumps, cysts and tenderness will see those symptoms vanish, “within a month of getting rid of the bra.”

Not everyone is ready to hang up her halter. As one woman told the team, “My **** will sag all the way to my navel without a bra.” But Surgeon Christine Haycock at the New Jersey College of Medicine says that inherited traits – not ligaments or ****** size – are the reason some ******* give in to gravity. Bouncing bosoms help clear the lymphatics.

Well aware that their findings were “explosive,” the Singers sent their survey results to the heads of America’s most prestigious cancer organizations and institutes. None responded. Like the cancer business, the bra business is huge. Multiply how many worldwide women buy several $25 bras every year and you end up with a multiple of the $6 billion-a-year U.S. bra business.

Syd Singer says that establishment censorship of the bra-breast cancer connection is killing women. Pointing to the biggest commonality among ****** cancer patients, he’s emphatic that it’s bra-squeezed lymphatics.

Going bra-less for all occasions, Soma began dressing to de-emphasize her *******. She also began regular ****** massage and bicycle riding, vitamin and herbal supplementation, and drinking only purified water.

Two months later, her lump disappeared.

At the first frightening sign of a lump, an angry Syd Singer says, “women should take their bras off before they take their ******* off.” Why wait, when you can liberate your lymphatics now?

IF YOU MUST WEAR A BRA

Push-up and sports bras are out. Choose loose-fitting cotton bras. Make sure you can slip two fingers under the shoulder-straps and side- panels. The higher the side-panels, the more severe the restriction of major lymph nodes. Don’t wear this disastrous device to sleep. Take it off at home. Massage your ******* every time you remove your bra. Sing your lymphatics into health – or at least breathe deeply.

REMEMBER: A spectacularly bad combination is wearing a bra and using a cell phone. Never never carry a cell phone in a bra, bikini top or bottom. [Alt Health by William Thomas]

Cell Phone Radiations & its Facts & its Protection

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009
sheldonkalnitsky asked:

Phone Radiation and Health concerns have been raised, particularly following the huge boost-up in the use of wireless mobile telephony all through the world (as of August 2005, there were more than 2 billion users worldwide). Mobile phones use electromagnetic radiation in the microwave range, and some consider this might be damaging to human health. These concerns have induced a hefty body of research (together epidemiological and experimental, in non-human animals and in humans). Concerns about effects on health have also been elevated regarding other digital wireless systems, for instance data communication networks.

The World Health Organization, stand upon the consensus view of the scientific and medical groups, states that health effects (e.g. headaches) are very improbable to be caused by cell phones or their base stations, and expects to make suggestions about cell phones in October 2009.

Nevertheless, certain national radiation advisory authorities have suggested measures to reduce exposure to their populace.

Facts:

The cell phone industry would want us to consider that there are no injurious effects of cell phone radiation; nevertheless, the actuality tells us otherwise. There are more than 200 million cell phone users in America and this number is mounting day by day. This means that there are millions of mobile phone users who are oblivious of the danger of using this device.

Wireless Technology Research

The cell phone industry is never going to admit that there are stern health dangers correlated to mobile phone radiation. In reality, when the industry started a Wireless Technology Research in 1993, a non-commercial organization, to prove to the public that mobile phones are secure, the research boomeranged on them, so to speak.

The Studies performed and found:

The research team was headed by Dr. George Carlo. More than 200 doctors and researchers were drawn in in the WTR project. Overall, more than 50 studies were performed. Based on the studies, Dr Carlo and the scientists gave a conclusion that cell phone radiation was injurious to the user. The studies found that

-    Radiation from the cell phone may result to DNA damage and damage the DNA repair method.

-    The cell phones caught up with cardiac pacesetter.

-    The radiation from the cell phone boosts the danger of brain dysfunction, tumors, cancer, autism, attention deficit disorder and neurodegenerative disease.

-    In kids, the mobile phone radiation causes behavioral and emotional problems.

Further Research against Mobile Phones

More lately, a study conducted by Dariusz Leszczynski at the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority, Helsinki, came to a conclusion that mobile phone radiation did impinge on cells in living humans. The study found that there is a sturdy chance that cell phone radiation changes the expression of certain proteins in living cells in human beings. In accordance to Leszczynski, the study has proven that our body does identify/make out the low-level of radiation given out by cell phones and therefore reacts to it.

More and more studies have shown that there is a very persuasive link among non-ionizing radiation from the mobile phone to a variety of diseases such as cancer, brain tumors, Alzheimer, Parkinson, tiredness and headache.

Queries which we got ask ourselves:

A lot of us would not like to trust these studies and their findings. Nevertheless, if we sit down and think clearly, we will comprehend that there are certainly so many queries that are unrequited. For example, is it not astounding that in the last decade there has been a dramatic rise in brain cancer? In accordance to epidemic curve projections, there would be 400,000 to 500,000 novel cases of brain and eye cancer all over the world, each and every year.

Why are we witnessing such an important increase in diseases such as, Alzheimer, Parkinson, autism and attention deficit disorders? Certain experts consider that electro pollution from technology has something to do with it. And that the information-carrying radio frequencies from mobile phone communications play a great part.

Although the mobile phone industry goes to big lengths to claim that mobile phones are totally secure, their actions speak otherwise. Think about it – why do a lot of mobile phone providers have their consumers sign a contract stating that they would not take legal action the mobile phone producer or participate in a Class Action Lawsuit. If the mobile phones are so secure and protected, why do they have this clause in their contracts? It appears that they are endeavoring to cover their behinds, presently in case.

The actuality is that many studies have already shown that mobile phone radiation has effects considered injurious to the user, and the consumers require to know of this so that they can take suitable safety measures.

Protection against these cell phone radiations:

It’s no secret that mobile phone use is on the rise, even in nations which are growing. After all, what with the lowering of the price of the phones, and more satellites in place to hold up their use; their use can only mount. But, recent research has shown that the use of cell phones carries an elevated risk of health problems. While their radiation is little, there is the twin dilemma of repeated exposure and the close closeness of the cellular phones to a person’s head. We’re already seeing the results – more incidents of headaches, migraines, brain cancers, and a host of other health problems for adults. There’s even evidence that this radiation may damage your blood! In the case of children, we are seeing more cases of autism every year. While it’s known that this disease is a genetic one, it’s also been started that the disease has an environmental factor. Present research recommends that mobile phone radiation could be that vital factor.

Yet, it is not as if we can simply toss away our mobile phones and go back to standard “land lines”. Using mobile phones is a verity of contemporary life; such as giving up the horse and buggy for the automobile.

This is where technology can help you out. Today, there are many computer chips you can purchase and fit in your handset, or even simply wear on your person. A variety of sites on the internet uphold dissimilar emf commodities that you can wear.  Other products for example mobile phone protection chips stick to the phone and either shield counteracts or block the radiation that the mobile phone emits and obtains.  Air tube Headsets are another very famous cell phone protection product on the market that is gaining fame and keeps the radiation away from your head.  As with any of these devices ensure that their scientific research is to confirm the products claims as it is well worth the money to avert the possible future implications of cell phone radiation.  Bear in mind, tobacco used to be good for you.  Doctors said so!
